I was at the Chinese Consulate General in New York City to get my visa so that I can travel to China for a one-week study tour in Shanghai and the surrounding area. It is to be a great opportunity to get just a sliver of China. Back to the storyWe took the BoltBus up to NYC and arrived at the Consulate at about 10am. We just got back from a lovely Easter Holiday in Baguio City (in Benguet Province) over our Easter holiday!Baguio is about 180 miles north of Manila, and is called the summer capital of the Philippines because it is much cooler and drier than the rest of the country.
